Sales Engineer/Sales Manager

(Industrial Instrumentation)

Engineering sales professional sought to join a well established, successful small company that continues to grow through quality products and increasing demand.

Primary responsibilities include aggressively expanding sales by providing application solutions and support to customers and sales channels. Direct sales efforts will incorporate the entire sales cycle including lead generation, phone follow-up, quoting, visiting customer sites for technical presentations and closing orders. Sales channel activities will include training and motivating reps and distributors while building solid long-term relationships. Candidates must be sales assertive and motivated by the challenge of combining technical ability with marketing and sales closing skills.

Experience with industrial process measurement and automation including sensors and instrumentation, PLCs and HMI/SCADA software is preferred. Experience with air pollution control systems and EPA regulations is a plus.

Compensation is commensurate with technical experience, education and sales results. A BSEE/ME or equivalent, 3-7 years related experience, excellent writing and verbal communications skills and strong computer skills are required. 25-35% travel.
